It is difficult to find people who looks at the sabbath in this fashion. Everybody runs out of church to watch or participate in some other activity! I remember keeping the sabbath in this way. Now there is much gossip and division in even family gatherings. And then we have many in healthcare so not everyone gets to enjoy the same day. What is one to do?

Dr. Rogers, I was wondering about verse 36. You said that the word there is Peithon, as opposed to apeithon at the end of the verse. This isn't the word shown in the Greek lexicon. It is πιστεύων, Pisteuon. These words are different. In fact, the other verses you cited (5:24, 6:40, 6:47, 11:25) are all "Pisteuon". Different word than peithon. Granted, this word Pisteuon generally does have action surrounding it, I'm wondering if you could clarify why you think the same word is used? Thanks for your diligence, and I really enjoy your expositorial series! Blessings!

In this scripture replace the plot to kill Jesus to the plot to kill Black people in America. Have you heard of the King Alfred plan or the REX-84 plan. Of course they are going to say it's not true. 😮

I dont think God designs difficulties in our life. We create difficulties for ourselves because of our sin and he delivers us when we put our faith in him and lean on him. He delivers us because he loves us. Because we do not obey God, we find us in difficulty. Or we might be in difficulty because of others errors but God always delivers the righteous

Pastor. The problem most people have with going to church is exactly the attitude you have toward the Father’s children. You blame them and condemn them, when you should have comforted them and declared to them what the Christ declared: “Fear not, little flock; for it is YOUR Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32 NO ONE listening to this teaching was brought closer to their Father. Shame on you pastor. You are the Pharisee of the 21st century. Repent of this arrogance and wickedness.

Ok bro at most all it says was that Sarah sow contempt in Hagars eyes and you got all that about her being a bad person and trying to steal the promise because of your apparent interpretation even when it was never stated in the bible and about abrahams decision you need context as as far as Abraham knew he would be a father of a multitude it said nothing about Sarah so far and in those times having a second wife especially if the first was unable to have children was come and god actually allowed Ismeal to be born and he is the first person in the bible to be named before birth so I don’t know what your saying unless you think good didn’t help Hagar have ishmeal and somehow Abram was some how able to buy past hods plan because of his infidelity which to me sounds like blasphemy
